2013 Mercedes-Benz M-Class

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is a luxury midsize five-seat SUV that offers superior comfort, well-made interior, a variety of powertrains, room for plenty of luggage and off-road capabilities. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz M-Class competes with luxury SUV such as Lexus RX350, BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7 and Land Rover LR4.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is available in ML350 (MSRP from $ 47,270), ML350 BlueTec (starting from $ 51,270 MSRP), ML 550 (MSRP from $58,800) and the high-performance ML63 AMG (at $ 96,100) trim levels. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML350 and ML 350 BlueTec are equipped similarly. These two models come standard with 19-inch wheels, a power liftgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, foglamps, a sunroof, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, reclining rear seats, eight-way power front seats, premium vinyl upholstery, heated front seats, Mercedes mbrace2 telematics system, Bluetooth and an eight-speaker sound system. The 2013 ML 550 adds 19-inch wheels, running boards, and rear side airbags.

The Lighting package includes adaptive bi-xenon headlights. The Driver Assistance package includes adaptive cruise control. An Off-Road package includes an adaptive air ride suspension, a six-mode terrain selector and underbody skid plates. The Premium package adds power-folding mirrors, auto-dimming mirrors, driver memory functions, a rearview camera, a navigation system and a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel.

The high-performance 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG comes with a twin-turbo V8 engine, AMG-tuned steering and suspension, active roll stabilization, stronger brakes, 20-inch wheels, sport seats and leather upholstery.

For the 2013 Mercedes-Benz M-Class, the navigation, infotainment and comunication system are intuitive and easy to operate using the metal Central Controller located on the center console. The center console incorporates an armrest with integrated handrest, in front of which is located the Central Controller and various switches.

The seats in the 2013 Mercedes-Benz M-Class are designed to provide a high level of comfort on long journeys as well as excellent lateral support. All important parameters can be electrically adjusted. These include the adjustment of seat height, backrest rake, seat cushion angle and reach. Generous seat adjustment travel of more than 13.75 inches lengthways and more than 3.5 inches in height ensure that M-Class drivers will always find the ideal seating position.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML350 comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 302 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard. The 4Matic all-wheel drive is available as an option.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML350 BlueTec has a completely reworked 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine that produces 240 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. This engine meets emissions standard in all 50 states and delivers for better performance. The seven-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive are standard for this model.

The 2013 ML 63 AMG comes with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 518 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.

Standard safety features for 2013 Mercedes-Benz M-Class includes traction control, stability control, antilock brakes, the Mercedes’ mbrace2 telematics system, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, a collision warning system, front and rear side airbags, driver knee airbags and side curtain airbags.
