New 2013 Ford Flex

The new 2013 Ford Flex is a full-size SUV that offers three rows of seats. This new seven-passenger, three-rows crossover comes equipped with the new generation of MyFord Touch, rear inflatable belts, and more. The new 2013 Ford Flex competes in the popular crossover segment with other cars, such as Chevrolet Traverse, Mazda CX-9 and Toyota Highlander. For 2013 Flex model, Ford has added a lot of new standard or optional features including ventilated front seats, adaptive cruise control, more powerful V6 engine and electrically driven power steering on all models.

The new 2013 Ford Flex is a full-size crossover SUV vehicle that can seat up to seven adults and carry more luggage at the sometime it is a modern equivalent of what to be the family station wagon but it offers much more comfort, practicality and joy to drive on any road.

The new 2013 Ford Flex, the largest SUV model of Ford, as Explorer and Expedition, is available in six- or seven-passenger configurations and it is offered in three trim levels: SE ( starting at $30,885 MSRP ), SEL ( MSRP from $33,285) and Limited (from $39,230 MSRP).

The 2013 Ford Flex SE is the most affordable model and it comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, cruise control, rear parking sensor, automatic headlights, a six-way power driver seat, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a six-speaker sound system with a CD player and a 60/40-split second row seat. The SEL trim level adds 18-inch wheels, foglamps, heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a six-way power front passenger seat, MyFord Touch electronics interface with a large central touchscreen, two USB ports and enhanced steering-wheel controls.

The 2013 Ford Flex Limited adds 19-inch wheels, LED taillights, xenon headlights, a power liftgate, keyless entry, keyless ignition, driver memory functions, perforated leather upholstery, a 110-volt power outlet, a navigation system, a rearview camera and a 12-speaker Sony sound system.

Optional on all models are roof side rails, multipanel rear sunroof and tow package. The new 2013 Ford Flex comes in nine exterior colors, including three new colors for 2013 model year: Ruby Red, Deep Impact Blue and Kodiak Brown. Customers also can choose from body-color roofs, or two-zone with white, gray or black available on the Appearance Package.

The new 2013 Ford Flex features SYNC with the new generation of MyFord Touch, making it easier to manage information, control features and adjust settings. MyFord Touch includes two 4.2-inch screens in the instrument cluster and an 8-inch screen in the center stack.

Every 2013 Ford Flex comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 285 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque. This new Ti-VCT (Twin independent variable camshaft timing) engine is projected to deliver more fuel economy with 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. Front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control are standard. All-wheel drive is optional.

Optional on the 2013 Ford Flex Limited is the old turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that produces 355 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired exclusively with a six-speed automatic with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and all-wheel drive.

The new 2013 Ford Flex comes standard with stability control, ABS, traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, rear parking sensors, a blind-spot warning system, a second-row inflatable seatbelts and more.
