The Fusion is one of the best selling cars of Ford lineup. The 2013 Ford Fusion is a midsize sedan that now is fully redesigned. The highlights of 2013 Ford Fusion include the addition of the MyFord Touch interface, improved fuel economy and more dramatic styling. A Fusion Hybrid model is also available now. The 2013 Ford Fusion competes with Nissan Altima, Kia Optima and Honda Accord.
The new 2013 Ford Fusion is available in three trim levels: S, SE and Titanium ( the SE Hybrid is considered distinct model). The 2013 Fusion S comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels, full power accesories, automatic headlights, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, keyless entry, air-conditioning, 60/40-split-folding rear seats, a trip computer and a four-speaker sound system.
The 2013 Fusion SE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, exterior keypad entry, a rear fold-down armrest, an eight-way power driver seat and an enhanced audio interface. For Fusion SE are also available additional optional equipments. The Appearance package adds 18-inch alloy wheels, foglights, a rear spoiler and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Luxury package adds seat memory settings, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated front seats and leather upholstery. The Technology package adds dual-zone automatic climate control, the MyFord Touch interface, an SD card reader, two USB ports and a rearview camera.
The Fusion Titanium comes with 18-inch wheels, keyless ignition, keyless entry, sport-tuned suspension, auto-dimming side mirrors, sport front seats, rear parking sensors, a premium 12-speaker Sony sound system and the contents of the SE’s Luxury and Technology packages as standard.
The 2013 For Fusion S and SE comes standard with a 2.5-liter Duratec 16V four-cylinder engine that produces 175 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard. There are two additional engine options for the Ford Fusion SE. The first is a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine that produces 178 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. The second engine available is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost that generates 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed automatic is standard and a six-speed manual tranmission is optional for the 1.6-liter engine. The 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium comes standard with the 2.0-liter engine and automatic transmission. Only for the Titanium, the all-wheel drive is optional.
The 2013 Ford Fusion comes standard with front and side airbags, dual knee airbags, antilock brakes, electronic stability system, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning.
