The 2013 Dodge Charger is a full-size four-door sedan that is inspired by the original Dodge Charger coupe of the 1960s. This rear-wheel-drive muscle-car offers an attractively-designed cabin, comfortable and spacious front seats, and an aggressive exterior styling.
The 2013 Dodge Charger is available in five trim levels: SE, SXT, R/T, SRT8 and SRT8 Super Bee. The Charger SE comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless ignition, keyless entry, automatic headlights, dual-zone manual climate control, cruise control, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, a six-way power driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, a 4.3-inch touchscreen interface and a 6-speaker audio system with an iPod/USB interface. The Connectivity Group adds to SE a Bluetooth connectivity, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The SXT adds heated mirrors, foglamps, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote ignition, an eight-way power driver’s seat, heated front seats, an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface and 19-inch wheels for Charger SXT with all-wheel drive.The SXT Plus package adds 18-inch wheels, heated rear seats, leather upholstery and LED ambient illumination. The optional Rallye Appearance Group adds 20-inch chrome-clad wheels with performance tires, a sport-tuned suspension and a 10-speaker audio system. Also available on the 2013 Dodge Charger SXT are a Navigation Group (with a navigation system and a back-up camera), blind-spot warning system, rain sensing wipers, xenon headlights, driver memory settings and power-adjustable steering wheel and pedals.
The R/T adds to the SXT’s standard equipment 18-inch wheels, performance tires, sport-tuned suspension, upgraded brakes, xenon headlights and front sports seats. The R/T Plus package is identical with SXT Plus package. The R/T Road&Track package adds a black grille, paddle shifters, 20-inch alloy wheels, ventilated front seats and a power-adjustable steering columns and pedals with memory. A Super Track pack adds a sport-tuned suspension, upgraded brakes and a three-mode adjustable stability control system.
The Dodge Charger SRT8 is an ultra-high performance model, that features 20-inch wheels, a three-mode adaptive high-performance suspension, three-mode adjustable stability control, a rear spoiler, upgraded brakes, heated steering wheel, a navigation system, a rearview camera and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The SRT8 Super Bee is a more affordable version of the SRT8.
The 2013 Dodge Charger SE and SXT come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Rallye Appearance Group lift the horsepower of this engine to 300 and torque to 264 lb-ft. A five speed automatic transmission is standard on the SE. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard for the SXT and optional for the SE. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available on the SXT.
The 2013 Dodge Charger R/T comes with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that produces 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. All R/T come with a five-speed automatic transmission.
The Dodge Charger SRT8 comes with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that produces 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive and a five-speed automatic transmission are standard.
