The 2013 Audi Q5 is one of the best luxury SUV on the market due to the combination of size, quality and family-friendly features and that also comes with a stylish design and high-quality materials. With roomy backseat, sporty handling, good brake performance and with Quattro all-wheel drive system, the 2013 Audi Q5 competes with other compact luxury crossovers such as the Acura RDX, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLK and Volvo XC60.
The 2013 Audi Q5 is offered in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The Q5 hybrid is considered a distinct model. The 2013 Audi Q5 Premium comes standard with 18-inch wheels, eight-way power front seats, roof rails, automatic wipers, automatic headlights, a tri-zone climate control, leather upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a sliding and reclining 40/20/40 rear seat, a Multi Media Interface (MMI) and a 10-speaker sound system with CD player, satellite radio and an SD card reader. A panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, Bluetooth and iPod interface are available as options.
The Q5 Premium Plus includes all optional items of Premium and adds xenon headlights, LED running lights, auto dimming mirrors, power-folding exterior mirrors, a power liftgate, 19-inch wheels, keyless ignition, keyless entry and driver memory functions.
The Q5 Prestige adds adaptive headlights, a heated/cooled cupholder, rear door sunshades, a blind-spot warning system, the Audi MMI Navigation Plus (with rearview camera, rear park assist, voice controls, digital music storage and navigation system) and a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. The Comfort package adds additional leather cabin trim, ventilated front seats and power passenger lumbar adjustment. Also, the S line package adds 20-inch wheels with performance tires and an adaptive suspension.
The Audi Q5 premium and Premium Plus come standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 TFSI engine that produces 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission is an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic with Audi quattro all-wheel drive. Standard on Audi Q5 Prestige and optional on Q5 Premium Plus is a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 272 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission with all-wheel drive also is standard.
Standard safety features of 2013 Audi Q5 include antilock disc brakes, electronic stability system, traction control, fron-seat side-impact airbags, side curtain airbag for both rows of seats and blind-spot warning system.
