The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is offered in the U.S. in S550, S550 4Matic and S63 AMG trim levels. The 2014 S-Class S550 comes standard with rear-wheel-drive, 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, the Comand system with navigation, a rearview camera, a complete LED lighting system, dual 12.3-inch high resolution screens, Burmester surround-sound system with dual USB audio ports, Front Bass system and voice control, heated 16-way power front seats with memory, in-car WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth connectivity, soft-close doors, power rear-window sunshade, multicolor/multizone LED ambient lighting, keyless start and electronic trunk closer. This engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The S-Class S63 AMG is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine built by AMG, that produces 577 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed AMG Speedshift Sports transmission.

The 2014 Buick LaCrosse is offered with a choice of two engines. The base and front-wheel-drive Leather models come with a mild hybrid powertrain consisting in a 2.4-liter ECOTEC DOHC 4-cylinder engine paired with a 11-kilowatt electric motor. Combined, they produce 182 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. Optional for the two trim levels mentioned above and standard on everything else is a 3.6-liter SIDI DOHC V6 engine with VVT that produces 306 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models.
Standard safety features include ABS, traction control, stability control, front and rear seat side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags.
