2012 Chrysler 300

The new 2012 Chrysler 300 is the flagship sedan of Chrysler, which offers world-class technological innovation, quality and premium sedan features at a legendary value. The 2012 Chrysler 300 is stylish and powerful and it is one of the few remaining American rear-wheel-drive sedans. The Chrysler 300 competes with Toyota Avalon, Ford Taurus and Buick LaCrosse. New for 2012 Chrysler 300 is an eight-speed automatic transmission available with the V6 engine which can be paired with all-wheel drive. A touchscreen interface is now standard on the base and Limited models.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 comes in seven trim levels: base (MSRP from $27,670), Limited (at $ 32,670), 300S V6 (from $ 33,670), 300C ( MSRP from $ 38,670), 300S V8 (MSRP $ 39,670), 300C Luxury Series ( at $ 42,170) and SRT8 ( from $ 47,670). The 300 Luxury Series, the 300S and the high-performance SRT8 are new as 2012 trim levels.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 base comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, heated mirors, automatic headlamps, cruise control, keyless ignition, keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, a compact touchscreen interface, an auxiliary audio jack, an iPod/USB interface and steering wheel controls.

The Chrysler 300 Limited adds 18-inch chrome-clad wheels, remote ignition, leather upholstery, a power passenger seat, heated front seats, and Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity. The Limited with all-wheel-drive adds 19-inch chrome-clad wheels. The 300S V6 adds performance tires, unique styling elements, steering wheel shift paddles and a larger touchscreen display.

The 2012 Chrysler 300C adds of the Limited’s standard equipment a V8 engine, automatic high beams, automatic wipers, a rearview camera and a navigation system with real-time traffic. The 300S V8 is similarly equipped but includes the 300S V6’s styling elements. The 300C Luxury Series version of the 300C adds special “platinum chrome” exterior trim, upgraded leather upholstery, real wood trim and 20-inch wheels.

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 is a high-performance model that adds to the 300C a high-performance V8 engine, performance tires, Brembo brakes, special 20-inch wheels, sport suspensions, sport-tuned steering, special styling inteior trim, front and rear parking sensors, sport seats and adaptive bi-xenon headlamps.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 base, Limited and 300S V6 models come standard with a fuel-efficient 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that produces 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The base model comes standard with a five-speed automatic transmission while the other V6 models come with the new eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard for all V6 models. All-wheel drive is optional on the Limited and 300S

The 2012 Chrysler 300C and 300S V8 come with a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine that produces 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive are standard. All-wheel drive is optional.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 gets a 6.4-liter V8 engine that produces 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive and five-speed automatic with paddle shifters are standard.
