Starting at 21.990 $ MSRP for base and available in four trim levels (base iSV,mid-level iSport, sTouring and top level Grand Touring), with more optionally, the new 2011 Mazda CX-7 competes with Ford Edge, Toyota Highlander and Nissan Murano.
The interior of the 2011 Mazda CX-7 comes with a long list of goodies like separate vents to deliver heat to rear passengers wich come standard. A leather interior is optional.
Highlights of the CX-7 include five-speed sport automatic transmission (i models) and six-speed automatic transmission (s-models), 17-,18- and 19 inch alloy wheels, multi information display (MID) with available rearview camera (standard on GrandTouring CX7 and iTouring and optional on base S models like iSport), advanced keyless entry and start system, driver’s seat position memory, bluetooth hands-free phone and audio, compact navigation system and rain-sensing wipers.
The 2011 Mazda CX-7 Grand Touring model is equipped with chromed door handless, high-intensity discharge headlamps and automatic climate controls.

Engine and drivetrain choices for 2011 Mazda CX-7 are:
- 161 – horse-power, maximum torque 161 lb-ft at 3500 rpm 2,5 liter normally aspirated engine, with 5 speed automatic and front wheel drive for i-trim. Fuel efficiency is 20 miles per gallon in city/ 28 miles per gallon highway.
- 224 hp, maximum torque 258 lb-ft at only 2500 rpm 2,3 liter turbocharged engine with 6-speed automatic transmission and front or all-wheel drive for s-trim. Fuel eficiency is 18/24 mpg for front wheel drive and 17 mpg city/ 21 mpg highway for all-wheels drive.
Safety is a priority for the 2011 CX-7. With dual front-side and rollover curtain airbags for the front and rear rows, the new 2011 Mazda Cx-7 keeps passengers protected in the event of a collision. The CX7 is also equipped with safety technology to keep passengers out of hairy situations like antilock brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control systems.
