Ford Ranger 2011

The Ford Ranger 2011 is a true compact truck, sized bellow the mid-size Toyota Tacoma, Dodge Dakota and Nissan Frontier. Only GM’s truck twins the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado still offer the smaller dimensions in the truck class.

The 2011 Ford Ranger is a versatile truck, available in Regular and two- and four-door SuperCab configurations and three different trim levels: XL, XLT and Sport. Both the Regular and SuperCab configurations come with a six-foot bed.

XL ( Starting at $ 18.160 MSRP) and XLT (Starting at $19.120 MSRP) 4×2 and 4×4 series are equipped with stylish standard wheels and tires; a Class III trailer hitch is standard across the line.

The lower front-bumper valance has an integrated 1-inch air deflector to help reduce drag and improve fuel economy. Large fog lamps provide excellent visibility and a tougher appearance. XLT models feature body-color front and rear step bumpers and a chrome H-bar grille that is standard on 4×2 setups for a bolder look.

XLT and Sport (Starting at $22.425 MSRP) models are equipped with an AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary audio input jack and are MP3 capable.

2011 Ford Ranger provides high levels of safety and security via the Ford Personal Safety System, seat-mounted side airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and SecuriLock passive anti-theft system, all included as standard equipment on all models. Advance Trac with RSC delivers a level performance that competitive stability control system can’t match. Unlike competitors’ system, Advance Trac with RSC utilizes a second gyroscopic roll rate sensor to determine the vehicle’s body roll angle and roll rate. Also ┬ástandard is a four-wheel Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) along with driver and front passenger airbags, seat belts with front pretensioners for outboard seating positions and side-intrusion door beams.
